MIKOŁAJKI, considered by many to be the capital of Masuria, is a small town located in north-eastern Poland on the shores of Lake Mikołajskie connecting the lakes Tałty and Śniardwy and Bełdany.

MIKOŁAJKI is also a kind of mecca for sailors who travel the route from Węgorzewo to Ruciane Nida every year on board their sailboats. To numerous quays on both sides of the lake Mikołajski, from early spring to late autumn, calls several hundred yachts a day.
